Job Sumary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect with 12 + years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Windows File Server Administration and Cisco VPN Load Balancer BIG IP / F5 a deep understanding of Medicare and Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer domains. This role involves designing implementing and managing cloud solutions that align with our business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud architectures that meet business and technical requirements.
- Oversee the migration of on-premises applications and data to cloud environments.
- Provide expertise in Windows File Server Administration to ensure seamless integration and operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare and Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer domain regulations.
- Develop and maintain cloud governance policies and procedures.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and implement optimization strategies.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary controls.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
- Manage cloud budgets and optimize costs.
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud environments.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.
- Create detailed documentation for cloud architectures and processes.
Position Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in an IT related role
- Possess a deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
- Demonstrate expertise in Windows File Server Administration.
- Have extensive experience with Medicare and Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer domains.
- Show proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Display excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Hold relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $73,000- $116,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizantβs discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizantβs applicable plans.
