We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Group & Financial Reporting to join our growing and dynamic Group Reporting & Financial Reporting team. You will support review and issuance of external unaudited and audited stand alone financial statements as well as submission of financial information for the corporate group reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Issuance of financial reports, including annual audited and monthly/quarterly unaudited financial statements under US GAAP to external investors as well as supporting internal segment group reporting deliverables under IFRS
- Prepare footnotes for the annual audited financial statements
- Ensure proper accounting and financial statement presentation for debt and equity instruments, commodity and financial derivatives, and leases
- Coordinate audit support and external auditors’ inquiries related to financial statements’ audits and group reporting package review
- Support local and group accounting with ad-hoc internal and external requests related to financial information, business/Merger & Acquisitions support
- Support implementation of new USGAAP and IFRS accounting standards and stay updated on changes in US GAAP and related regulations, and proactively implement improvements to accounting practices and financial reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain a high quality, deliverable-focused culture within the team
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or higher degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- Minimum 5 years' of accounting experience required
- CPA preferred
- Large corporate environment experience preferred
- Experience with the preparation of annual audited financial statements with footnotes
- Ability to work within tight deadlines
- Experience with the preparation of annual audited financial statements with footnotes
- Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
- Wind energy project development, power industry, and/or real estate partnership experience helpful
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office products - Excel required
- Proficient knowledge in the use of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle helpful
- Tax equity experience helpful
