Responsibilities
- Market Research: Dive deep into market research to uncover the needs and preferences of our target audience. Analyze demographics, behaviors, trends, and competitors to shape our product strategy.
- Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop innovative positioning strategies to set our products apart from the competition and create compelling messaging that resonates with our audience.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to craft and execute dynamic go-to-market strategies. You'll determine the best channels, pricing strategies, and promotional tactics for successful product launches.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with product development, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless alignment and cohesive strategies.
- Sales Enablement: Equip our sales teams with the tools, training, and collateral they need to excel. Create impactful sales presentations, product guides, and competitive analyses.
- Customer Feedback and Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform future product development and marketing strategies. Use data to gain insights into user behavior and preferences.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Monitor product performance throughout its lifecycle. Identify growth opportunities and adjust marketing strategies to maximize product success.
- Client facing responsibility: Working with clients / prospects / partners / events to test and gather information that provides insight on the product offerings we are releasing and maintaining while providing constructive feedback with Product in support of continuous advancement or EOL recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- 10+ years marketing experience, 5+ year’s experience in product marketing.
- Proven success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans.
- Deep understanding of the product or industry is crucial
- Strong analytical skills to conduct market research and identify customer needs.
- Ability to develop and execute strategies aligned with business goals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Stellar project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in digital marketing channels and tools, including social media, email marketing, content marketing, SEO, SEM, and marketing automation platforms.
- Expertise in working with data and metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies. Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
