OverviewBroadPath is immediately hiring a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Specialist to join our team. Our professional Contract Specialist will be responsible to interpret contract terms for multiple vendors and efficiently enter data into our database system.
ResponsibilitiesAccurately interpret provider contract terms, including:
- Effective date
- Parties to the agreement
- Term of the agreement
- Contract rates
- Contracted specialties (e.g., radiology, physical therapy, cardiology)
- Data Entry: Enter contract terms into our contracting database, Symplr.
- Configuration Support: Create and manage VCRF tickets via SharePoint for Epic system configuration.
- Document Management: Separate and organize vendor contracts from large PDFs into base agreements and individual amendments, appropriately labeled.
- Uploading Documents: Ensure all contracts are correctly uploaded into Symplr.
Qualifications- High accuracy and precision in data entry and contract interpretation.
- Moderate computer experience, with proficiency in Adobe, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with contract terms, including understanding the hierarchy of base agreements and amendments.
- Highly organized and able to manage workload independently.
- Previous experience in provider contracting, claims processing, or credentialing.
- Understanding of HMO, PPO, and/or Medicare.
- Previous experience using EPIC and/or Symplr is highly desirable.
