Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team! This position serves as the first point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service.
Your Responsibilities:
• Support job ticket creation for print projects and associated data order entry requirements
• Assist Account Managers in acting as a liaison between internal departments and outside vendors to ensure customer needs and requirements are met
• Build and maintain customer relationships through excellent service
• Support purchase order creation for outsourcing needs
• Obtain proofs for customer approvals
• Assist in alterations per customer specifications
• Monitor job completion and ship dates
• Proactively discuss with stakeholders any risks identified throughout the course of an order
• Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the business initiatives
• Cross-train in other departments to level workload needs within the business
• Continuously evaluate opportunities to drive process improvements
• Maintaining standard operating procedures for accounts and overall processes
• Research and resolve missing/incorrect specifications pertaining to orders
Minimum Qualifications:
• The minimum education required for this position is a high school degree or GED (general education degree)
• Excellent problem solving, follow-up, and organizational skills.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks.
• Effective written communication skills and the ability to create short correspondence and memos for a variety of audiences.
• Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Detail-oriented, used to working in a fast-paced environment, and managing multiple projects.
• The ability to be on-site Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm
We Would Also Prefer:
• Previous customer service or customer support experience
• Openness to change and the ability to support a vision and direction.
• Willingness to respectfully challenge the status quo when seeking improvements.
