Job Summary
Marietta Country Club is looking for a positive, energetic, and team-oriented full-time Laundry/Housekeeping Attendant. The ideal candidate for this position must be detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and friendly. This individual will perform light housekeeping and heavy laundry duties.
Job Duties and Tasks
• Retrieves and sorts dirty linens, towels, and napkins for cleaning and processing in a timely manner.
• Operates, loads, and unloads washers, dryers, and iron machines.
• Folds linens and towels according to Club standards.
• Stacks clean items into laundry bins/shelves/carts to be delivered.
• Operates smaller washers and dryers to process specialty items or special requests.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of each department and area at all times.
• Cleans restrooms in Clubhouse, Tennis, Golf, and Pool maintaining Club standards.
• Speaks to members, guests, and coworkers using professional language and appropriate etiquette.
• Advises supervisor of any member/guest complaint as soon as they occur.
• Adheres to safety and sanitization regulations as instructed by OSHA and Marietta Country Club.
• Completes all other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work in an extremely hot environment.
• Must be able to handle hot linens as they come out of the press machine.
• Must be dependable and a team player.
• Must dress professionally and follow the Club dress code maintaining a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand in workstation for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch on a regular basis.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed.
• Must be available on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation as there is no public transportation nearby.
• Must pass a pre-employment background screening.

Work Location and Hours
Marietta Country Club is located at 1400 Marietta Country Club Drive in Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
Full-Time Schedule: 40 hours per week; Wednesday – Sunday, 2:00 pm – 10:30pm
Must be able to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
