Job Overview
Under the direction of management of the Nutrition department, this position prepares catering event requisitions including event data, menu with garnishes, equipment and utensils needed for service; sets up and serves Doctors dining room; practices safe and sanitary habits while performing all assigned duties; performs numerous activities that require constant interaction with ... co-workers, so must function as a team player; and provides prompt, courteous and friendly service at all times. Provides coverage and support in other areas as needed by management when catering volume is low. Performs service recovery as needed.
Job Requirements
High School Degree or GED
Ability to read and perform basic math calculations
Reading and writing skills
Recognize and enforce quality food standards
Take orders over the phone and email
Price, charge and prepare limited amount of food for catered events
1-2 years experience in a related field
