Job Summary As a Data Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of the Brand USA data warehouse infrastructure. Your role will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless integration of data sources and the development of effective data visualization solutions to enhance overall business intelligence. Essential Functions
• Manages the tactical and strategic initiatives covering the infrastructure, implementation, integration, maintenance, support, security, and performance of data warehouse systems and projects.
• Leads teams to create a vision for how data elements from multiple sources should fit together as a whole and execute on that plan to mature the business towards a data-driven organization.
• Drive advocacy, adoption, and business satisfaction of the data warehouse through value generation, advanced reporting, integration of feedback, and multi-year product roadmap.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for seamless data integration from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Ensures data pipelines are efficient, scalable, and reliable, and that data models are designed to meet business requirements.
• Installs processes for auditing data warehouses and ensuring data quality - establishing data governance policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Work closely with all stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate complex data sets into visually compelling insights.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
Job Qualifications
• Well-versed in data pipe-lining, data warehousing, data modeling, batch/stream processing and associated architectures, database performance, and reporting metrics.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud computing concepts, ideally on GCP.
• Hands-on experience with relevant technologies and tools such as SQL, Python, UNIX/Linux, Shell Scripting, BigQuery, distributed data processing, and software development methodologies.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI) to create insightful and user-friendly dashboards for different business units.
• Optimize ETL workflows to enhance data processing speed and efficiency.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the data warehouse, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Implement best practices for indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
• Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard sensitive data within the data warehouse.
• Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.
• Ability to perform the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• May require more than forty (40) hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
SCHEDULE
Brand USA’s business hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Our standard work hours may vary based upon position requirements. Additional hours may be required during peak times, which may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines.
