Role Description
This is a full-time OTR Position for a CDL A Truck Driver. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods from one place to another over long distances, and must comply with traffic laws and regulations. CDL A Truck Drivers must also ensure the safety of themselves, their loads, and others on the road, and must maintain their equipment. The CDL A Truck Driver ... will communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers, and must keep accurate records and logs of their hours driven, miles traveled, and cargo delivered.
Qualifications
• CDL Class A License
• Valid Driver's License
• Clean Driving Record
• Ability to operate a manual or automatic transmission
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the transportation industry
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and pass a physical and drug screening
• Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to read and understand maps, schedules, and shipping documents
• Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and GPS systems
