Express Employment Professionals is a professional staffing company dedicated to helping local businesses find local people. Our client is looking for experienced Production Forklift Drivers to support their team in Frederick, MD. This is a TEMP position lasting through Summer 2024.
Pay: $33.46 per hour ... Schedule: Monthly rotating shift (example: 4-night shifts = 3 days off, 3-day shifts = 1 day off, 3-night shifts = 3 days off, 4-day shifts = 7 days off)
Day shift: 5:45am-6:00pm
Night Shift: 5:45pm-6:00am
Job Description:
• Primary responsibility will be to take the finished product off the production line and move it to outdoor and indoor storage locations using a propane powered sit-down forklift
• Roughly 80% of the time will be on a forklift and 20% will be off the forklift assisting with issues on the line
• Perform daily pre-operation inspection of Forklifts
• Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned
• This position has a unique, rotating schedule that results in several days off at a time.
• There may also be substantial opportunities for overtime, as well.
Qualifications:
• MUST have experience driving a Propane Powered Sit-Down Forklift
• MUST have reliable transportation
• Forklift Certification is preferred, but not required
• Experience in manufacturing preferred, but not required
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays
• Completion of a drug test and background screening
