Requirements
Position Summary:
The Catering Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a variety of Club and private events held at the Club. This position is responsible for successfully planning and executing each facet of every event from initial contact to follow up evaluation.
The Catering Manager works closely with other departments, especially Food & Beverage, to ensure each event exceeds Member expectations.
As with all positions, the position will continually exemplify and promote the core values, mission and culture of the Columbine Country Club team.
This position reports to the Director of Food and Beverage.

Customer Service:
• Manage event planning and execution process all private banquets and club events
• Meet with members regarding party/event planning needs, including menu creation, décor and pricing
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage and Culinary Team to create a culinary experience that complements the overall event
• Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and floorplans; update both throughout the entire event planning process
• Provide outside vendor lists to client for elevated event experience
• Create and work within budgets; tracking expenditures and creating a post event P&L
• Work with communications team to create marketing for all Club and Member Events
• Propose new events and programming for the membership
• Attend events as necessary including events at night, during weekends, and/or holidays
• Utilize Club Essential-RESERVECLOUD and POS system for billing
• Alignment of your core values with the mission, vision and values of Columbine Country Club
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
• Minimum of 1-3 years restaurant or hospitality management experience and a basic knowledge of customer service principles, food service, and event operations is encouraged
• Excellent customer service skills, friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude
• Ability to build positive relationship with the membership, team members and guests of the Club
• Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional, tactful manner
• Ability to learn quickly
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to lift 30lbs and to be on your feet for long periods of time
