Housekeeper/Laundry
Duties ... - Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and appearance of hotel rooms and common areas
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors
- Change linens and make beds
- Stock and replenish amenities such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables
- Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens
- Operate laundry equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds)
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning products
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with guests and coworkers
Note: This position may involve working weekends, holidays, or evenings based on the needs of the hotel.
