Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and prepare catering events, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are organized and in place.
• Provide professional and attentive service during events, ensuring all guests have an exceptional experience.
• Assist with food preparation and plating as needed, maintaining presentation standards.
• Make timely and efficient deliveries to various event locations, ensuring all items arrive in perfect condition.
• Collaborate with the catering team to ensure seamless execution of events from start to finish.
• Act as a leader within the team, taking charge when necessary and providing guidance to junior staff members.
• Be comfortable going out on small caterings independently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and service stations.
• Assist customers with catering requests via phone and email inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with all state, county, and local health department policies, laws, and requirements.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Catering Server or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of catering operations, including setup, service, and breakdown.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of professionalism.
• Availability on weekdays after 3 pm and some weekends.
• Ability to handle a physical, active position, and frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies weighing 30+ lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Travel to and from off-site catering events.
• Exceptional organizational skills that allow one to multitask many items simultaneously.
• Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
• Exceptional food presentation skills.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
