CannabizTEMP is seeking Packaging Technicians for our client, an industry-leading Cannabis Company based in Phoenix, AZ. The Packaging Technician will be responsible for entry-level assembling, packaging, and labeling of all items being prepared for shipping orders from a manufacturing facility that produces various cannabis-infused products. The ideal Packaging Technician will possess a strong ... work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with others as part of a team. We are actively seeking candidates with an active Facility Agent Card, as well as an active Food Handlers Certification.
Hours and Days: This position will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, from 8am to 5pm PST. The position will run for about a month, and there is a possibility of this position turning into a permanent position for the right candidate.
Duties:
Quality Control: Thoroughly inspect cartridges and pre-rolls for defects, ensuring they meet our quality and safety standards.
Weighing and Measuring: Accurately weigh and measure cannabis products to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements.
Packaging: Properly package cannabis products, maintaining freshness and quality while following strict protocols.
Labeling: Apply labels with all required information, including potency, dosage instructions, and regulatory compliance.
Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels and assist with restocking packaging materials.
Compliance: Ensure all packaging and labeling practices adhere to state and federal regulations governing the cannabis industry.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all packaging and labeling activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Sanitization: Follow strict sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic packaging environment.
Safety: Adhere to safety protocols to handle cannabis products and machinery safely.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in cannabis packaging or a similar role is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance (preferred but not required).
Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated environment.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Compensation: $17.00/hr.
