This role is part-time and works from Monday – Friday with an occasional Saturday to receive shipments. Expected 20-25 hours a week.

Job Description
As a Local Delivery Driver at Beehive Meals, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient delivery of our high-quality freezer meals to customers, distribution points, and designated locations. This role emphasizes timely transport while maintaining a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do:
• Load product into vans for deliveries.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Execute delivery routes and adhere to established schedules for timely deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
• Verify the condition of freezer meals upon delivery, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Confirm accurate labeling and dating of delivered meals.
• Maintain accurate records of delivered orders, including temperature logs and customer feedback.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the Delivery Supervisor promptly.
• Use seat belts and other safety equipment at all times.
• Wash, vacuum, and maintain vehicles.
• Take vans to the shop for oil changes, break changes, and other maintenance as required.
• Receive and unload shipments of product.
• Organize inventory.
• Maintain a clean distribution facility.
• Assist with marketing by putting flyers on doors on off delivery days.
• All other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
• Valid Driver's License: Mandatory with a clean driving record.
• Driving Experience/Age Requirement: 3 years of legal driving experience OR 21+ years old.
• Safe Driving Practices: Strong commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills with a customer-centric approach to delivery.
• Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction and issue reporting.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry freezer meal bags and work in various weather conditions.
• Time Management: Strong time management skills to adhere to delivery schedules and meet deadlines.
• GPS Proficiency: Familiarity with GPS and navigation apps for accurate route following.
• Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing delivery schedules and requirements.
What You Will Experience:
Work is primarily performed in a delivery vehicle and may involve sitting for extended periods. Additionally, work is generally performed in a production/warehouse environment and varying client locations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
• Operate a delivery vehicle, including starting, stopping, turning, and maneuvering in traffic (including during various weather conditions.)
• Enter and exit the delivery vehicle frequently during the course of a shift.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including exposure to sunlight, rain, snow, and fluctuating temperatures.
• Visual acuity to operate a delivery vehicle safely and read maps or navigation devices.
• Auditory ability to be aware of traffic and environmental sounds for safe driving.
• Use hands to handle food products and processing equipment.
• Perform repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement
• Feel the attributes of objects, grasp, and push.
• Wear personal protective equipment while working (provided) – this might include, and is not limited to hairnet, facemask, gloves, safety glasses, etc.
• Stand and work over a table.
• Reach with arms or hands, including overhead while retrieving and delivering freezer meals.
• Lift and carry varying objects of 15 - 40 lbs., and up to 75lbs. throughout the day.
