Responsible for greeting patients upon arrival, relaying incoming telephone calls to the appropriate person, and performing assigned administrative responsibilities. Essential Functions:
Answers incoming telephone calls on a multi-line telephone system in a professional manner.
Schedule patient appointments.
Transfers calls to the appropriate person and writes messages in accordance with approved telephone procedures.
Ensure patients check out as they leave the office and follow check-out procedures.
Confirm patient appointments.
Document and notify Doctor when a patient cancels an appointment.
Type correspondence and office memos as directed.
