We are looking for a Warehouse Lead to support the Warehouse Supervisor by overseeing team members to ensure they are completing their responsibilities according to safety, quality, and cost objectives. In addition, our ideal Warehouse Lead focuses on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture.
Responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring team member daily responsibilities to ensure they are meeting volume demands with required quality to maximize efficiency.
• Assisting with shipping and receiving, unloading, and loading trucks and checking in stock and materials.
• Maintaining inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer and/or scanner.
• Using equipment such as ladders, pallet jacks, electric jacks, order pickers, and forklifts to move inventory around the warehouse.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; sweeping, dusting and mopping as needed; organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
Requirements
• At least three years of experience in warehousing, receiving, inventory control or materials management in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment required
• Excellent leadership skills and comfortable providing constructive feedback to others
• Excellent communication skills required, including the ability to speak, understand, and read English
• Forklift experience required
• Computer and RF Scanner experience preferred
• Fast learner who always focuses on quality output
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
