As part of the Customer Packaging Experience (CPEX) Lab team, this position is primarily responsible for supporting all packaging performance testing needs to support the Heavy/Bulky Packaging Innovation team.
You will work with packaging engineers and ... external stakeholders to coordinate and packaging perform testing, as well as recording test results and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders regarding testing.
You will also have the opportunity to work alongside engineers, program managers, and external stakeholders to develop new test methods, processes, and innovations to reduce damage waste in the Heavy/Bulky space.
This position is within the Product Assurance, Risk, & Safety (PARS) organization and the work directly impacts global waste and carbon footprint reduction.

Key job responsibilitiesResponsibilities include:
Maintain and promote safety within the Lab Regular lab cleaning, preventative maintenance, and 5S Conduct in-person testing and document results Communicate and manage projects with vendors and internal customers in a timely and concise manner Support packaging engineers with new test development Record activity and maintain data integrity in a variety of systems and tools.
Provide packaging feedback to other Amazon teams.
Participate in varied CPEX onsite and virtual support projects Review customer feedback and use packaging expertise to advise internal teams.
Manage multiple projects and varying tasks simultaneously.
Supporting internal teams with project launches and trials, including (less than 10%) out-of-state travel.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
