The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in the efficient operation of our feed store. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing incoming feed products. Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Receive and inspect incoming feed products, verifying accuracy and quality.
• Safely and efficiently store products in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and inventory control.
• Prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup, picking items accurately and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and rotating stock as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, organizing, and disposing of packaging materials.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.

Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform repetitive tasks.

Knowledge of feed products and familiarity with animal nutrition is a plus.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
