Job Description ... The Rooms Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and supply of all linens, towels, and other guest laundry items at The Ballantyne Hotel. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, responding to guest requests, and maintaining a clean and organized laundry room.
Responsibilities:
• Operate laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and other guest laundry items.
• Sort laundry by color and fabric type.
• Inspect and identify damaged or stained items and remove them from circulation.
• Keep inventory of linen supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
• Respond to guest requests for additional linens or laundry services.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry room.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
