Under general supervision, our couriers are responsible for providing courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of various items with an emphasis on safety and customer service.
Essential Duties:
Receive daily route information from a centralized dispatcher Safely transport lab specimens, medical records, supplies, interoffice mail, and other related materials Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior Present a professional image to clients and public through appearance and interaction Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation and adaptability with teammates and ... clients All other job-related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Must be a minimum of 24 years old Valid and current driver's license Clean driving history Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (CARGO VAN PREFERRED) Ability to complete and maintain satisfactory completion of specialized training regarding the transportation of goods with special handling requirements including but not limited to dry ice, clinical samples and/or medical products Ability to follow procedures closely Familiarity working with or adapting to technology Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50lbs Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision Must be able to pass a background check and drug test Will service commercial and government accounts, must be able to meet all client/customer requirements as directives as released.
