We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Banquet Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in table setting, including expertise in arranging tableware, glasses, and silverware. They will also be responsible for assisting with the setup of banquet halls and providing exceptional service during events. Experience in banquet service and the ability to lift heavy items are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:

Set up banquet halls according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.

Skillfully arrange table settings, ensuring that all tableware, glasses, and silverware are impeccably placed.

Collaborate with event Banquet Captain and catering staff to ensure seamless coordination of service.

Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages during events, following established protocols and standards.

Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, responding promptly to their needs and requests.

Assist with loading and unloading trucks, lifting and carrying heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as needed for event setup and breakdown.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the banquet area throughout the event, including clearing tables and refreshing table settings as needed.

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional service delivery.

Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of food, equipment, and heavy objects.

Assist in the breakdown and cleanup of banquet halls after events, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stored.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Banquet Server or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

Demonstrated proficiency in table setting, including arranging tableware, glasses, and silverware with precision and attention to detail.

Ability to lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 lbs, and assist with loading and unloading trucks.

Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests.
