Holiday Inn Express Wylie West is searching for an attentive laundry attendant. The laundry attendant's responsibilities include cleaning, drying, and folding towels, sheets, and other textile articles, while paying close attention to recognize any possible damage. Laundry Attendants work side-by-side with Housekeeping Room Attendants to ensure they have the supplies needed to give guests the ... best possible experience.
Additional hours available if willing/able to cross-train in Housekeeping, Breakfast, or Front Desk department.
Laundry Attendant Responsibilities:
• Sorting, washing, drying, and folding towels, sheets, and other textile items.
• Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
• Keeping an updated inventory of laundry detergents and various types of linens.
• Ensuring that the facility remains clean at all times.
Laundry Attendant Requirements:
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferable but not required.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Capacity to lift up to 20 pounds unaided.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Personable disposition with a knack for customer service.
