POSITION PURPOSE
The Sales Associate (SA) acts as a point of contact for our customers. The duties of the (SA) include assisting customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, cleaning the store, and performing other duties as assigned by the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company ... assets.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment from customers and make change, bag merchandise, and assist customers with merchandise when necessary.
• Maintains housekeeping standards to ensure a positive experience for customers and team
• Executes tagging and replenishment process and maintains solid product knowledge.
• Articulates current promotional events and the brand loyalty program with the customer.
• Establishes and maintains a cooperative working relationship with all members of the team.
• Supports management's direction of store.
• Supports, trains, and coaches others to success.
• Adheres to all company policies and safety procedures as directed by the company.
• Availabilty during the hours of 11:00am-9pm Monday-Saturday and Sunday 11am-6pm.
Experience: 1 Year retail experience preferred but will train
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Demonstrated customer engagement skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Ability to communicate effectively and positively with customers and employees.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Ability to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; climb up and down a ladder.
• Constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping and reaching.
AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS
• Availability to meet the needs of the business that may include days, nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Any availability changes must be approved by the Store Manager and will be approved based on business needs.
• Scheduled working shifts from 3-8 hours in length (applicable state laws apply).
• Minimum number of hours is not guaranteed.

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
