Under the general supervision of the Director of Operations is responsible for maintaining critical and highly confidential church contribution records and maintains online auto payment systems.
Handles all aspects of gift acknowledgments. Provides direct assistance for the Annual Giving Campaign, mailers and all general administrative support for the Business Office.
Position Details : 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. M-TH; 8 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 00 F. Occasional need for additional hours during periods of heavy production.

Contributions
• Count Sunday offering and open mail under dual control.
• Perform data entry of contributions, pledges, and other income.
• Upload all Giving to MortarStone software weekly.
• Maintain up-to-date member-giving records in the Church system.
• Balance and prepare bank deposits for all incoming cash receipts.
• Maintain and process recurring and online payments.
• Process and distribute Quarterly and Annual giving statements.
Gift Acknowledgement
• Provide dashboard reports from MortarStone software as required.
• Provide support to the Generosity Committee.
• Track and acknowledge all first-time donors, second-time donors, and third-time donors.
• Prepare all gift acknowledgment letters.
• Work collaboratively with the membership team with donor follow-ups.
• Send appropriate interactions for all special restricted gifts. Maintain follow-up to ensure gifts are acknowledged in a timely manner.
• Acknowledge all memorial gifts to family and donors weekly.
Qualifications
• High school education or equivalent.
• Two-five years of experience in an Accounting and / or Bookkeeping role.
• Experience with Accounts Receivable / payable and / or billing.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with data mail merge functions in Microsoft Word.
• Knowledge of Office 365 / Teams / Microsoft Office. 2 hours ago
