Become amaker of ... possiblewith us.This role provides flexibility to work a few days on site and a few days remotely on a weekly basis.Regional Marketing Strategy+ Lead strategic initiatives that span across the MDS portfolio.+ Partners with marketing leaders to develop & advance cross portfolio Value Offers+ Lead cross MDS product portfolio optimization strategies.+ Develop and execute against annual / strategic plan for key initiatives.+ May at times support market shaping initiatives.+ Facilitates and coordinates cross region marketing submissions.+ Collaborates closely with the Commercial, and Clinical team to deliver effective solutions.+ Conduct thorough market opportunity assessments driving to clear strategic recommendations.+ Effectively partners and collaborates with marketing partners and other cross functions to ensure development and execution of comprehensive marketing and product strategy.+ Establish, implement, and maintains "best practices" in marketing and product development marketing, this includes use of BD Way of Marketing tools.Regional Market Innovation & Surveillance+ Continuously collects, monitor, and disseminate regional needs that drive market innovation. Help build business case based on regional user needs for key opportunities.+ Lead regional innovation workstream (Project Catalyst), identifying areas for opportunities and proposing actionable steps to innovative solutions. Partners with marketing leaders and platform partners to successfully build business cases for key opportunities.+ Champions New Product Launch Excellence (GPDS) discipline within the region.+ Proactively conduct Market Surveillance to monitor developing trends & impact on business outlook. Provides quarterly update.+ Partners cross BDX to synthesize macro trends and derive strategic implications for MDS.Minimum Education+ Bachelors degree in marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.A MBA is preferred.Qualifications+ 10+years of relevant marketing experience in medical device industry preferred, but not necessary.+ Experience in upstream (new product development), US market downstream (demand generation), and strategic marketing role+ Strong Marketing competency+ Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.+ Familiarity/Experience with various market research methodologies.+ Strong analytical skills+ Strong business acumen and presentation skills.+ Forward-thinking and adaptable to dynamic situations.+ A solid understanding of innovation and how it should be applied in business.+ Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.+ Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to help formulate actionable strategies.+ Ability to work in a fast -paced environment with very little supervision.+ Resourcefulness and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities.+ Demonstrated ability to influence across and up the organization to effectively negotiate and persuade others.+ Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, Customers, advisory boards etc.+ Creative out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious, stays current on new trends, and takes calculated risks with novel ideas.+ Excellent presentation and communication skills for a wide variety of audiences.+ Track record of achievement in delivering projects and influencing business outcomes.+ Ability to travel ~10 - 20% of the time for customer engagements.For certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Companys receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
