Position Summary:
The CDL Truck Driver is responsible for driving a truck or automobile over an established route to deliver and pick-up products/merchandise, assist with shipping and receiving responsibilities, and collect money from customers by performing the following duties.
The position of CDL Truck Driver is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and shall be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked more than 40 in any one work week.
The CDL Truck Driver shall be accountable and supervised by the Transportation Manager.

• Loads and unloads product/merchandise by hand or by use of hand truck.
• Operates company vehicle in a professional, safe, courteous manner, and in accordance with applicable state, local, DOT and Hours of Service regulations.
• Picks up products/merchandise from various vendors in a timely manner.
• Delivers products/merchandise to various customers in a timely manner.
• Ensures delivery of appropriate products/merchandise in accordance with customer request.
• Ensures delivery vehicles are clean and in good working condition.
• Performs daily maintenance checks and reports malfunctions to transportation.
• Ensures customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate management.
• Returns credit products/merchandise with appropriate paperwork and informs management of delivery.
• Assists in always maintaining a neat and clean workplace.
• Reports overstock occurrences to transportation immediately.
• Provides customer with copy of signed invoice/credit form for products/merchandise delivered and/or picked up.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
• Stacks and secures items in positon on truck to prevent damage during shipment.
• Drive to and deliver customer orders to meet scheduled customer times and maintain adequate productivity rate to meet delivery schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• CDL A or CDL B License required.
