PURPOSE STATEMENT
The Warehouse Manager will manage all aspects of finished product storage, transport, materials requisition, acquisition, storage, and inventory control. Will oversee purchasing, scheduling, shipping, and receiving functions to align with the needs of the plant operations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
• Ensure that all necessary materials are requisitioned using proper procedures from approved suppliers. Assures this is done in a timely fashion so that materials are always on hand when needed, while working within facility capacity. Avoids excess inventories using Lean Manufacturing concepts. Investigate and solve problems resulting from materials shortages.
• Ensure materials are properly received and accounted for using prescribed systems for paperwork flow and inspection. Responsible for storing materials using orderly, systematic methods to ensure prompt location, and accurate inventory. Locate, prepare, and store materials for production. Ensure that all aspects of GMPs are followed to meet compliance.
• Ensure that all finished goods are properly stored and accounted for using the warehouse management system. Ensure that finished goods can be an effective and labor-efficient to ensure timely loading of orders and trucks. Manage warehouse in a manner that allows timely accurate inventory of all goods. Manage flow of raw materials and finished goods from outside facilities under our direction. Conduct physical inventories.
• Develop, implement, and communicate short-term and mid-term (6 months to 1 year) business plans for the department, while ensuring associates understand the links to the plant’s divisions and the corporation’s business plan priorities. Must also understand your role in accomplishing these plans.
• Ensure that safety, quality, food safety and cost polices are complying to plant policies and standards, while addressing deviations thru associate coaching, improvement tasks implementation, and corrective actions as applicable
• Participate in the Plant’s TPM, Food Safety, Sanitation, Quality and Safety teams. Perform inspections in preparation for and during external audits or issue work orders to correct any identified deficiencies.
• Mentor and motivate associates, provide training and development to optimize their performance and personal growth. Communicate performance standards to associates, recognize and reward individual and team accomplishments and hold them accountable, and address performance problems in a timely manner. Ensure all associates have the resources and capabilities to effectively accomplish their responsibilities.
• Keep abreast of latest supply chain technologies and systems
• Participate and lead the mock recall process
• Understand and participate in the Plant TPM program activities (could possibly include leading the FI Pillar)
• Perform other duties and handle special projects as assigned by Plant Manager
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Position requires 5 -10 years of experience including a minimum of 3 years experience in production or inventory control, purchasing, scheduling, and customer service. Direct experience in supervising management, clerical, and hourly associates is required.
• 4-year college Degree preferred or HS Diploma and an extensive amount of experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor
• SAP super user experience preferred
• Must have TPM & RF experience
• Expert knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and other supply chain or inventory control software
• Must be a fast learner and able to assimilate new software, procedures, and techniques as they are constantly introduced into this environment
• Must be able to handle multiple assignments concurrently, possess excellent organizational and time management skills, and be able to function in a fast-paced environment. Must possess the maturity to deal with matters of a highly confidential nature.
• Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to facilitate constant interaction with a wide variety of personalities and management styles. Will need to be able to work effectively with others, both within the company, and outside the company in order to accomplish administrative duties.

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

$82,368.47 - $123,552.71
