Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in catering or a related field, with a strong passion for hospitality and event management. As the Catering Assistant Manager, you will play a key role Working with the Catering Manager in ensuring the success of events, sales, and managing day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the catering team to generate and close banquet sales leads.
• Act as the point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Oversee the execution of events, including setup, service, and breakdown, to ensure smooth and seamless operations.
• Help Manage staffing, including hiring, training, and supervision of event staff.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs of event spaces to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance the overall guest experience.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of catering or related experience A MUST
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and catering/event management software is a plus.
