This role will report to the Employee Experience/Office Manager and work out of the Botify NYC office located in the World Trade Center area.
Hourly rate & hours:
• Part-time, 20 hours a week, $20/hour. Required 5 days a week in office.
• Proposed hours are below (can be flexible depending on hire*):
Mondays: 9 am to 1 pm Tuesday-Wednesday: 11 am to 3 pm Thursday-Friday: 1 pm to 5 pm
Responsibilities:
• The Cleaner and Facilities Assistant at Botify will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly workspace, ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment for employees and visitors
• Perform general cleaning tasks, including wiping kitchen counters, regularly cleaning microwaves and coffee and ice machines, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Empty and dispose of trash receptacles as needed
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors as needed
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Clean up after and put away weekly breakfasts and lunches.
• Refill and restock cleaning supplies, office supplies, water jugs, and snacks as needed
• Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to Employee Experience/Office Manager
• Assist in organizing and maintaining storage areas
• Keep inventory of all cleaning materials, snacks, and office supplies
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures when handling cleaning chemicals
• Adhere to established cleaning schedules and routines
• In cooperation with cross-functional departments, assists in preparing office space for onboarding employees, office moves, re-configurations, and dismantling as needed
• Ensures physical office space is professionally maintained to provide a safe, clean, functional, and attractive environment for employees, clients, and visitors;
• Provides back-up for the office manager as needed and performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of commercial cleaning experience
• A clean background check (we will be conducting a background check upon offer extension)
• Basic understanding of English
• Ability to lift 20-30 pounds
$20 - $20 an hour
