Your Role...
Responsibilities ... • Production – Assist in various production related activities including but not limited to operating a semi-automatic labeling machine, assisting on filling lines packing out finished goods, counting and staging for shipping. Assist with prepping and charging raw materials to production batches and cleanup of all material contacted parts.
• Housekeeping - Participate along with other employees to keep areas within the facility clean. Keep work area clean and organized; leave all machinery and areas worked clean. Keep the maintenance area swept and organized. Return all tools and unused materials to proper places.
• Safety - Demonstrate safe work habits including use of safety equipment, lockout/tag out procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment, appropriate use of parts handling equipment and methods, correct disposal of waste and notification of hazardous conditions.
• Documentation - Support Maintenance, Production - Perform other tasks as assigned to support maintenance and production. May include, but not limited to, upkeep of maintenance crib and remote storage, periodic rack repair and construction.
Education:
• High school diploma or GED
General Skills:
• Knowledge of cataloging and inventory techniques.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving practices.
• Skill in basic arithmetic.
• Ability to effectively communicate (read and interpret) in English
• Position requires: materials handling, stock control and packaging. Experience with motorized industrial trucks may be required.
Work Environment:
• Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, and/or loud noises.
• Moderate physical effort. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 70 pounds and prolonged standing and walking.
• Must be capable of manipulating arms, wrists, hands and fingers to retrieve small objects and to use packing equipment.
• Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as operating dangerous equipment or working with chemicals.
Pay Rate:
The pay range below is provided in compliance with state/city specific laws. This pay range applies to this location. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
• $19.00 - $20.00
