Duties:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas ... - Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
- Sweep or scrub floors.
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment.
Skills:
- Food preparation: Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques.
- Help: Ability to assist other kitchen staff as needed.
- Hospitality: Customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience for guests.
- Banquet: Experience working in a banquet setting and handling large volumes of dishes.
- Restaurant: Familiarity with restaurant operations and standards of cleanliness.
- Culinary: Understanding of culinary terminology and kitchen procedures.
- Kitchen: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures.
- Bussing: Experience bussing tables and clearing dishes from dining areas.
- Clean: Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary work area.
