Atrium Health Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its growing, well-established outpatient gastroenterology team in the Charlotte metro area. Position Highlights
Virtual Outpatient-only role
Schedule: Variable hours including evenings and weekends
Patient Volume: Approximately 14 patients per day
Procedures: PEG tube exchanges (training/support provided)
Practice Environment
Kenilworth office location
Team includes 8 physicians and 5 APPs at the site
Larger group includes 27 physicians and 27 APPs across the practice

Responsibilities
Provide outpatient gastroenterology care to adult patients
Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and APP colleagues
Participate in team-based care delivery and clinical coordination
Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and patient experience
Qualifications
Certified Physician Assistant or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
North Carolina licensure (or ability to obtain)
Minimum of 2 years of APP experience required (no new grads)
Interest in general gastroenterology; subspecialty interests welcomed
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
