We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in our systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and update data in company databases and systems with a high degree of accuracy
- Verify the accuracy of data before entering it
- Review data for errors or discrepancies and correct any issues
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Communicate with team members via email, chat, or video calls for clarification of data or instructions
- Ensure timely completion of data entry tasks
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Follow company procedures and guidelines related to data entry and management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data entry software
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work setup
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems
- Familiarity with cloud storage tools (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.)
- Knowledge of data privacy and security practices
