How you’ll make an impact in this role
Ascension is seeking a strategic and people-focused leader to serve as our ERP Training Director. This role is responsible for aligning organizational change efforts with a clear, compelling training program with an eye for engaging both desk and deskless associates. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, a bias for action, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. This position leads a team dedicated to enabling culture, clarity, and connection across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise-wide training initiatives by developing strategies that drive adoption, alignment, and measurable results across priority transformation efforts.
- Provides strategic analysis and advice on the development and implementation of organizational learning & development (OD&L) strategies.
- Coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Partner with executive and functional leaders to shape messaging, manage risk, and support organizational readiness for strategic shifts.
- Own and manage relationships with agency partners and consulting partners. Complexity of work
Complexity of Work:
- Provides strategic counsel and support to market executives, system teams and other partner teams.
- Develops, manages and measures the organization’s strategic training plan and sets metrics for measuring that engagement among audiences. Analyzes results and develops a standard reporting structure and cadence.
- Ideally the candidate will also have a knowledge of the evolving healthcare audiences, deskless workforces.
- Must be able to work well across matrixed teams and demonstrate the efficiency and the delivery of reliable results in a fast-paced environment.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- 5+ years in a leadership role with relevant experience in the training space; Large healthcare organizational experience strongly preferred
- Prior ERP transformation experience (or similar change/technology transformations) with ability to provide insights into best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage issues and risks related to change management and communications.
- Experience in measurement and reporting, with ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to support change management and training.
