Job Title: Remote Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in the accurate and efficient fulfillment of pharmaceutical orders. You will be responsible for preparing, labeling, and packaging medications for pharmacist approval, as well as managing inventory and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities

Locate correct medication and strength to complete picking of orders.

Prepare, count, label, and package pharmaceuticals for pharmacist approval.

Purchase, receive, and coordinate inventory.

Maintain and update inventory recap reports.

Retrieve discontinued or expired medications from stock; discard or return to stock as appropriate and complete corresponding documentation.

Maintain prescription logs.

Accurately calibrate equipment and document calibration according to policy.

Assist with the maintenance of pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs, and document maintenance.

Comply with safety, quality assurance, accreditation, legal, state, and federal regulatory requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Comply with all policies and standards.
Essential Skills
-
Pharmacy technician certification or license.

At least 1 year of specialty experience.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Proficiency in data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with dispensing pharmacy team responsible for fulfillment orders.

Ability to work effectively with a team of 20 other techs and pharmacists.

Familiarity with DME pumps and infusion orders.

Experience in a closed-door, no patients/mail order pharmacy and specialty environment.
Work Environment
The work environment is onsite, working alongside a team of 20 other technicians and pharmacists. The role involves working Monday through Friday. The setting is a closed-door pharmacy with no direct patient interaction, focusing on mail order and specialty pharmacy tasks. Technicians will be primarily assigned to picking duties, ensuring daily orders are fulfilled. Performance will be measured against KPIs and SLAs once determined by the team.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
