The Referral and Scheduling Coordinator schedules and pre-registers patients for exams and procedures with specialists and providers outside of the primary care physician's office. The Referral and Scheduling Coordinator assumes ownership and leads advanced and specialized administrative/operational/customer support responsibilities that require independent initiative and judgment.
Required Qualifications
- 2 - 4 years of hands-on healthcare experience in a clinical setting, preferably within the Medicare population
- 1 - 5 years of leadership experience
- Proficient in medical terminology
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- We consider this role patient facing and runs the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma in related ifield in healthcare or business administration
- Knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT coding
- Referral experience
- Medical Assistant or Professional State Certifications related to healthcare
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

Work Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$44,900 - $60,200 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
