The IT Systems Administrator is a full-time, on-site position responsible for managing and supporting the day-to-day IT infrastructure. Resolving end-user issues across a cross-platform environment running Windows 11 and MacOS, supporting the Microsoft 365 tenant, network systems, SaaS platforms, and AV equipment. The ideal candidate is a dependable IT professional with solid troubleshooting skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- BS/BA in Computer Science
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a System Administrator, IT Support, or similar role, preferably in a SaaS-driven environment.
- Strong experience administering Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including user provisioning, group management, and access controls.
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 tenants, including license assignment, user lifecycle management, and basic security configurations.
- Proficiency in onboarding and offboarding processes, including account creation, license allocation/removal, and workstation setup and decommissioning.
- Hands-on experience with endpoint management and inventory tracking for laptops and IT assets.
- Experience managing and supporting network infrastructure, preferably with Ubiquiti UniFi systems (WiFi, switches, access points).
- Experience with Atera or similar RMM tools for remote monitoring, patching, and endpoint management.
- Experience using a ticketing system such as Zendesk to track, prioritize, and resolve support requests while maintaining clear documentation and communication.
- Familiarity with Lenovo laptops and general hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation, user management, and administrative tasks within Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and MacOS environments, including OS issues, application support, and system performance.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve printer, peripheral issues and audio/video conferencing systems in a networked office environment.
- Understanding of SaaS application management, including provisioning, permissions, and vendor coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical user.
