The Mental Health Association of Columbia-Greene Counties is seeking a part time File Clerk for our Administration Department.
The File Clerk will be responsible for scanning the organization’s paper files and records into a digital system under the guidance of the Chief Executive Officer. The File Clerk will organize, maintain, and secure the organization's physical and digital records, ensuring data is accurate and easily retrievable.
POSITION TYPE: Part Time flexible hours/non-exempt
PAY RANGE: $20.00 per hour
WORK LOCATION: 713 Union St. Hudson, NY 12534 - Remote Eligible
SHIFT SCHEDULE: Flexible hours
Job Duties:
- Scan all paper files into a digital system.
- Help implement an effective digital filing system.
- Experience in related field.
- Experience in a medical or non-profit environment is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills while also being appreciative of the need to preserve confidentiality are key.
- Computer skills needed include (but not limited to) strong Microsoft Office skills, such as Word and Excel, desktop publishing software, cloud-based systems, with the aptitude to learn additional software programs and data entry systems.
- Must demonstrate initiative and have superb communication skills.
- Have the ability to work independently or as a team player.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
- Regular and steady attendance is a requirement for all positions.
