Position Summary
Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Training & Development Coordinator to support employee learning and professional development initiatives. The ideal candidate will coordinate training programs, maintain records, schedule workshops, and assist in developing training content to enhance workforce capabilities.
This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple learning initiatives in a government contracting environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Coordination
Coordinate employee training programs, workshops, and development initiatives.
Maintain accurate training records and completion tracking.
Schedule and communicate training opportunities to employees.
Program Development Support
Assist in developing training materials, presentations, and program content.
Support the rollout of new learning initiatives and compliance training.
Track employee progress and program effectiveness metrics.
Reporting & Compliance
Generate training and development reports for HR leadership.
Ensure compliance with mandatory training and regulatory requirements.
Assist with audits and documentation related to training programs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with HR, operations, and program teams to identify training needs.
Support leadership in promoting a learning culture and professional development.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in training coordination, HR, or administrative support.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage confidential employee information responsibly.
Preferred Qualifications
HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR) or training certification.
Experience supporting training programs in government contracting or defense environments.
Familiarity with multi-state employee training compliance requirements.
