Staffing: This position is hired through Industrial Color to support one of our leading cosmetics clients.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, graphic design-forward Creative Designer with proven experience in cosmetics brands. This role focuses on digital and print design, delivering above- and below-the-line assets that capture the energy of a bold, youthful beauty audience.
What You’ll Do
Visual Design & Brand Aesthetic
- Design high-impact digital and print assets for social media, email campaigns, POS, packaging, and marketing campaigns.
- Translate briefs into creative, trend-conscious visuals that reflect a modern cosmetics brand voice.
- Ensure consistency and visual cohesion across all consumer touchpoints.
Above & Below the Line Execution
- Create above-the-line (ATL) campaigns such as editorial spreads, billboards, and high-visibility marketing assets.
- Support below-the-line (BTL) materials like in-store signage, promotional graphics, product launches, and event visuals.
- Keep the brand’s voice bold, playful, and aspirational across all channels.
Collaboration & Creative Contribution
- Partner with Creative Directors, Marketing, and Product teams to elevate ideas with strategic design thinking.
- Participate in creative sessions, mood boards, and brainstorms that push visual innovation.
- Advocate for design clarity and cosmetics brand best practices across campaigns.
Production & Detail Orientation
- Prepare digital and print files with meticulous attention to typography, color, hierarchy, and layout.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure high-quality production that reflects the brand’s premium standards.
- Ensure designs are ready for retail, digital, and campaign deployment without compromise.
Organization & Workflow
- Maintain organized design assets for cross-functional teams.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently while upholding quality and brand consistency.
Required Experience & Skills
- 3–5 years of design experience in cosmetics, makeup, or beauty brands (wellness/skincare a plus).
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Strong foundation in typography, layout, color, and brand identity, specifically for cosmetics.
- Portfolio showcasing digital and print campaigns for cosmetics or beauty brands.
- Experience with retail graphics, product launches, or brand campaigns is highly preferred.

- Comfortable balancing creative freedom with production precision.
- Able to commute to El Segundo, CA three days a week, with flexibility to work remotely two days a week.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
This is a hybrid role requiring flexibility to work in-office and remotely. Evening or weekend work may occasionally be required during major projects.
