Business Systems Consultant III – Workday Compensation
Our client is seeking a Business Systems Consultant III to support the implementation of Workday Compensation as part of a major Workday HCM rollout. This role focuses on configuring, testing, and deploying Core and Advanced Compensation processes, including merit, bonus, stock, and allowance programs.
What You’ll Do
– Configure and support Workday Core & Advanced Compensation (merit, bonus, stock, differential/allowance plans).
– Develop user stories and execute SIT/UAT testing, including issue tracking and resolution.
– Run and validate Workday reports to support testing and data accuracy.
– Document compensation processes, data flows, and system design.
– Identify and manage dependencies with Payroll, Time, Absence, and Core HCM.
– Partner with HR, Payroll, and Change Management on process design and deployment.
– Support go-live preparation and post-implementation activities.
What You Bring
– 2+ years of Workday Compensation experience (Core + Advanced).
– Hands-on experience with allowance plans and notifications (e.g., bilingual pay, wage-theft notices).
– Strong understanding of cross-module impacts (Payroll, Time, Absence, Core HCM).
– Experience writing and executing testing scenarios.
– Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
– Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education & Experience
– Bachelor’s degree + 3+ years systems experience, including 2+ years Workday Compensation
OR
– 5+ years system implementation experience, including 2+ years Workday Compensation.
