How you’ll make an impact in this role
- You will manage scheduling of patient appointments, ensuring clinical resources and patient time are used with maximum efficiency.
- You will accurately capture demographic and insurance info to ensure a seamless checkout and billing experience.
- You will resolve scheduling hurdles and provide clear, empathetic guidance to patients regarding their pre-service requirements.
- You will support the insurance authorization process to ensure patients get the care they need without delays.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience scheduling patient appointments via phone and chat correspondence.
- Experience taking high volume calls in a health-care setting.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems in a remote environment.
- Experience with Athena, Epic, Dash, Genesys or Salesforce.
