LHH has partnered with an exciting research firm to identify a Financial Reporting Consultant! This will be a fully remote, part time position (20-30 hours/week) and will focus on cash flow reporting, accounts receivable, process improvement, and general accounting & financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Flow & Liquidity
- Maintain predictable, stable cash flow through forecasting and daily monitoring
- Ensure full weekly visibility into cash positions and identify risks early
Financial Reporting & Accuracy
- Deliver timely, reliable financial reports with real‑time expense and receivables visibility
- Flag anomalies, variances, and financial risks proactively
Accounts Receivable, Collections & Debt Recovery
- Drive effective collections processes and reduce aging AR
- Support debt recovery while maintaining strong client relationships
Expense Management & Cost Optimization
- Enforce disciplined spending, evaluate ROI, and identify cost‑saving opportunities
- Maintain tight budget compliance and partner with leadership on spend decisions
Vendor & Partner Financial Management
- Manage vendor payments, contracts, and satisfaction
- Optimize vendor terms and ensure annual contract compliance
Profitability & Margin Health
- Monitor and improve gross, contribution, and operating margins
- Identify margin erosion and support initiatives that strengthen financial performance
Operational Excellence & Results Orientation
- Drive outcome‑based execution, resolve blockers quickly, and escalate risks with clear options
- Maintain high standards of financial hygiene, tracking, and documentation
