Position Overview
A Caregiver provides compassionate, non-medical assistance to elderly, disabled, or chronically ill individuals who need help with daily living activities. The goal is to ensure clients maintain comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life in their homes or care facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
- Help with mobility and transfers (walking, repositioning, wheelchair assistance)
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Provide medication reminders (as directed by healthcare professionals)
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying living areas)

Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (preferred, if applicable)
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
- Previous caregiving experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely
- Background check clearance
Work Environment
