Data Scientist (Full-Stack / Generalist)

We are seeking an experienced, versatile Data Scientist who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. In this role, you will have the freedom to identify high-impact opportunities, design and implement technical solutions, and measure their success across our global product suite.
We value generalists over specialists. The ideal candidate has broad experience across the entire data science lifecycle rather than deep expertise in just one niche. You should be proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative to find problems worth solving. At our firm, you aren't just a number; you maintain ownership of your projects from initial conception to final implementation.
What You'll Do:
- Product Optimization: Design, run, and analyze complex A/B tests to optimize our consumer-facing product experience.
- Proactive Analysis: Identify hidden problems and growth opportunities through deep-dive data exploration.
- Visualization: Build and maintain high-impact dashboards to track key metrics and provide real-time insights.
- Modeling: Develop predictive models to understand user behavior and forecast business outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Engineering teams to turn data-driven hypotheses into live solutions.
- Strategy: Help establish data best practices and methodologies for a growing team.
- Experience: 2–3+ years of data science experience within a high-growth startup, scale-up, or FAANG/equivalent environment.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency with Python/R and SQL/BigQuery.
- Experimental Design: Strong experience in designing and analyzing A/B tests specifically for consumer-grade products.
- Autonomy: A proven track record of managing entire projects independently from ideation through to implementation.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex statistical findings into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Domain Knowledge: Experience with cryptocurrency, blockchain data, or fintech products.
- Tooling: Proficiency with Grafana (visualization), FullStory (event tracking), and Dataform (data pipelines).
- Advanced Analytics: Strong knowledge of causal inference, statistical methods, and Machine Learning applications.
