We are searching for a Director of Compensation & Benefits who will lead Carenet's global rewards strategy, ensure that compensation and benefits programs attract, retain, and engage talent while maintaining cost efficiency, compliance, and scalability.
Work Set Up: Onsite
Location: Makati (Circuit Corporate Tower 1)
Work Schedule: Night Shift ( 9pm-6am/10pm -7am, following US CST)

Responsibilities
The Director of Compensation & Benefits functions as the central authority and subject-matter expert for global rewards, with deep hands-on accountability for US Compensation and Benefits execution, including annual open enrollment, renewals, compliance, and vendor governance. While based in the Philippines, this leader owns U.S. benefits administration end-to-end and provides strategic oversight for compensation and benefits programs across the Philippines, Canada, and other international locations.
- Own and execute end-to-endU.S. benefits strategy and administration, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, wellness, and voluntary programs.
- Lead the U.S. annual open enrollment cyclefromstrategy through execution, including renewals, cost modeling, vendor negotiations, system configuration, employee communications, and post-enrollment reconciliation.
- Partner with U.S. brokers, consultants, and carriers to evaluate utilization trends, claims drivers, and plan performance, recommending design or vendor changes as needed.
- Ensure full compliance with all U.S. benefits regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and state requirements), including governance of SPDs, plan documents, Form 5500 support, and employee notices.
- Partner with Payroll, HR Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate eligibility, deductions, integrations, and issue resolution.
- Lead employee-facing benefits education and communications to drive understanding, engagement, and informed decision-making.
- Provide strategic oversight and governance for international benefits programs (Philippines, Canada, and other locations), ensuring alignment with local regulations and market practices.
- Develop and govern enterprise-wide compensation strategies, including job architecture, market pricing, salary structures, and base pay administration.
- Lead annual compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, and incentive planning, ensuring alignment with performance and budget targets.
- Serve as the enterprise owner for executive compensation, including incentive plan design, modeling, governance, and documentation.
- Own sales incentive compensation design and administration, partnering with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, and Finance to ensure plans drive revenue, margin, and growth outcomes.
- Establish clear governance, controls, and documentation for all compensation and incentive programs.
- Deliver workforce cost modeling and forecasting insights to Finance and Executive Leadership.
- Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Lead, develop, and mentor compensation and benefits team members, building bench strength and technical depth.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the VP of Talent & People Services and executive stakeholders on all rewards-related matters.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits strategy and administration
- Deep, hands-on expertise in U.S. compensation and benefits, including open enrollment, renewals, and ongoing administration
- Proven experience with executive compensation and sales incentive compensation programs
- Strong analytical, modeling, and data interpretation skills
- Experience leading and developing compensation and benefits professionals
- Strong executive-level communication and stakeholder influence skills
- Experience with HRIS, compensation, and benefits administration platforms
- Must be willing to work night shift and hybrid set up
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Experience supporting international compensation and benefits, including the Philippines and Canada
- Experience in high-growth, multi-country, or complex operating environments
- Exposure to equity compensation, long-term incentive plans, and executive governance frameworks.
