What You’ll Do
Looking for an opportunity to be a part of a highly technical team of skilled employees focusing on all aspects of the Network and Security infrastructure supporting our global presence? You’ll have operational responsibility to support the Network and Security technology verticals, including Implementation, and Operational support. You’ll manage the ongoing operations of all the company’s Security Infrastructure elements, including firewalls, IPS, web proxies, switches, routing and VPN devices.
You’ll optimize the performance and availability of secure network and end-user infrastructures through the application of best practices such as troubleshooting, maintenance, new client implementations, performance monitoring, and recommend appropriate course of actions and methodologies to achieve success. You’ll mentor more junior employees; help develop the latest in network topologies and advance our network and security to the next level.
You'll report to the network and edge security sustainment service managers ensuring that TTEC networks are the backbone of our operations, and the secure boundary of our company.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
·Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions across enterprise environments.
·Manage and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances (Palo Alto & Prisma).
·Ensure compliance with security policies and standards across hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
·Perform risk assessments and vulnerability management for network systems.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network security incidents and outages.
·Document configurations, processes, and incident reports accurately and timely.
·Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical network security issues as required.
What You Bring to the Role
·Requires a minimum of 5-6 years’ experience in the network and security engineering.
·Proficient working knowledge and implementation skills of Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, IPSec/IKE/SSL VPN devices and associated technologies
·Extremely Strong troubleshooting skills on network and security platforms is a must; ability to triage multiple, concurrent technical issues.
·In-depth knowledge and implementation skills Palo Alto Networks PA-7000 Series, PA-5200 Series, PA-5000 Series, PA-3000 Series, PA-800 Series running PAN OS 8.X Cisco Systems ASA5500 Series running IOS 9.X.
·Working knowledge of WAN Protocols including but not limited to MPLS, SD-WAN HDLC and routing protocols including EIGRP and BGP.
·Advanced understanding of LAN routing and switching such as load balancing, ACLs, NAC, 802.1x, dot1q, dot1x, and logical & physical network segmentation.
·Working knowledge of Hybrid Cloud IP Routing, networking, and Quality of Service technologies with demonstrated implementation in a large enterprise organization. (GCP or Azure)
·Mid-level certification or equivalent experience with GCP, Cisco, Palo Alto or industry standard. (GCNE, CCNA, PCNSA, SSCP or equivalent work experience of 4-7 years).
