LHH is actively seeking a Credit Risk Specialist for one of our top Clients! This is a fully remote, contract role supporting our client’s business financing operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience while mitigating risk.
Schedule & Contract Details
- Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time zone (after training completion)
- Training Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST
- Contract Duration: 3 months from start date, with potential for extension based on performance and business needs
- Work Environment: Fully remote; collaboration via Slack and video conferencing
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve customer inquiries efficiently via email using a CRM platform
- Triage and manage escalations by understanding where sellers are in the loan lifecycle to mitigate risk
- Answer customer questions related to business documentation and current loan information
- Meet or exceed established service level agreements (SLAs) for timely resolution of queued transactions to minimize potential revenue loss
- Identify, document, and follow up with cross-functional teams on product bugs and feature enhancements
- Advocate for the seller community by identifying issue trends and recommending improvements to processes, policies, and products
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to uncover solutions and serve as a resource to teammates
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain current knowledge of BSA/AML requirements and perform related duties as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of professional experience with a financial institution or payment provider preferred
- Experience in direct, customer-facing roles
- Strong interest in continuous feedback and personal skill development
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing startup environment
- Flexibility to manage multiple assignments while working independently
- Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
- Strong desire to help others and improve the customer experience
- Strong internet research skills and proficiency with Google Docs and general PC tools
- SQL experience is a plus
- MacBook experience preferred
Pay Details:$23.00 to $24.50 per hour
