BrightSpark is a creative learning and development studio on a mission to make learning feel bold, human, and beautifully crafted. We design people-first training experiences for hospitality, tourism, and service-driven brands, blending creativity, strategy, and heart to help people thrive.
We are a Savannah-based, remote-first company made up of curious, detail-loving professionals who care deeply about learning with purpose. Our work is grounded in our core values of Community, Inspiration, and Fun.
We are looking for a full-time Instructional Designer to join our team on a 3-month contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
This role is ideal for an early-career Instructional Designer who has a strong foundation and is ready to grow quickly. You may not have years of experience yet, but you have solid visual instincts, a clean design style, and a genuine curiosity about how learning works. You will receive hands-on mentoring and feedback, while also taking real responsibility for meaningful client work from day one.
In this role, you will:
• Support the design and development of learning experiences grounded in clarity and intention
• Turn ideas, outlines, and content into structured, learner-friendly flows
• Create clean, polished layouts across eLearning, slide decks, and workbooks
• Apply a sharp eye for spacing, hierarchy, and visual clarity
• Collaborate closely with leadership, team members, and subject matter experts
• Join weekly in-person collaboration days in Savannah
• Use feedback to strengthen your work and grow your confidence
• Manage your time and tasks using ClickUp
• Keep your work organized, accurate, and easy for others to pick up
You do not need to be an expert in every tool on day one. What matters most is your willingness to learn, apply feedback, and grow quickly.
Role Location: Hybrid (Savannah, Georgia)
Please Note: This position is open to local candidates only, and we are unable to consider fully remote applicants. You must live in the Savannah or surrounding area and be eligible to work in the United States.
